EMS4PVBEV and DYNAMO Projects Join Forces to Explore AI-Driven Energy Innovation

Geri, Cyprus | 1 December 2025 – Cyprus Public Transport hosted a clustering session between the EMS4PVBEV and DYNAMO projects, bringing together consortium partners and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share project progress, and explore opportunities for future collaboration in renewable energy and sustainable mobility.

The event welcomed representatives from the EMS4PVBEV consortium, including Cyprus Public Transport, the University of Cyprus, and Nicosia and Larnaca Public Transport, alongside partners from the DYNAMO consortium, including Electi Consulting Ltd and the Frederick Research Center. The session provided a valuable platform for both projects to present their objectives, achievements, and ongoing activities while identifying common areas of interest and potential synergies.

A key focus of the discussions was the application of artificial intelligence-driven energy management solutions for renewable-based energy systems. Participants exchanged insights on innovative approaches to enhancing energy efficiency, supporting the integration of renewable energy sources, and advancing sustainable transport infrastructure.

One of the highlights of the day was a guided tour of the EMS4PVBEV installation at CPT's workshop facilities in Geri. Attendees had the opportunity to explore Cyprus's first commercial electric vehicle charging station powered by solar energy and supported by battery storage, gaining first-hand experience of the project's innovative infrastructure and its role in supporting the transition to cleaner transport solutions.

The clustering session demonstrated the value of collaboration between complementary research and innovation projects. By bringing together expertise in renewable energy, artificial intelligence, and sustainable mobility, the EMS4PVBEV and DYNAMO consortia identified opportunities to strengthen knowledge sharing, accelerate innovation, and maximise the impact of their respective project outcomes.

As both EMS4PVBEV and DYNAMO are co-funded through the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation, the clustering activity demonstrated the value of strengthening connections across the national innovation landscape and fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
