Environment Policy
Cyprus Public Transport is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of its activities
through responsible operations, continual improvement and compliance with environmental requirements.
Cyprus Public Transport has established an Environmental Management System based on
ISO 14001:2015, which sets out our commitments to minimizing the impact
of our activities on the environment.
The current Environment Policy, defined by the Management, is part of the general policy
of the company and is consistent with it, being applicable to the entire organisation.
Our Environmental Commitments
Our efforts are focused on the following:

Incorporating into our strategies, policies and practices measures aimed at protecting
the environment and preventing pollution through the continual improvement of our
environmental performance.

Setting and reviewing environmental objectives and KPIs, and implementing action plans
addressing waste reduction, minimizing the environmental impact of our activities,
and improving energy and resource conservation.

Minimizing the amount of waste generated and ensuring its proper disposal.

Recovering waste through reuse and/or recycling.

Engaging our employees to help deliver our environmental objectives.

Understanding, evaluating and addressing risks that may negatively affect the environmental
performance of the company, while also taking advantage of relevant opportunities.

Environmental Management System
Through the implementation and continual improvement of our Environmental Management System,
Cyprus Public Transport aims to operate responsibly, reduce environmental impact and promote
sustainable practices across the organisation.
